Talking Heads announce release of famed 1977 WCOZ performance for Record Store Day 2024
Talking Heads are releasing a new live album titled LIVE AT WCOZ 77, capturing their famed 1977 performance for radio station WCOZ.
This will be the first time the full performance will be available, with the album featuring live versions of songs from their debut album and their unreleased second record. [ more ]

Screaming Trees' live album, 'Wrong Turn at Jahannam: Live at Egg Studio 1991,' will be released as part of Record Store Day Black Friday exclusive releases.
The album captures the band during a spontaneous recording session at Seattle's Egg Studio and features songs from their just-released major label debut, 'Uncle Anesthesia,' as well as older material.
The album is dedicated to frontman Mark Lanegan and bassist Van Conner, both of whom have passed away, and there may be more unreleased material from the Screaming Trees archive in the future. [ more ]
